I recently had the opportunity to work with Mr. John Voris and his Authentic Systems process. As a therapist with a practice specializing in hypnotherapy and spiritual/motivational counseling I realize that my focus has always been, as it should be, on my clients’ issues. It was a very enlightening experience to actually be in the role of the client and to have my needs addressed, a role reversal indeed! Through the Authentic Systems process I was able to achieve a new clarity on certain personal life issues that I have been concerned with for many years. The following is an endorsement and evaluation of the assessment tools and sales training products based on the work of John W. Voris. John has developed a sales assessment and training methodology that when implemented would have a highly significant impact on the sales person hiring policies and very nature of sales training courses currently being used. Retention rate would significantly increased, sales cycles would significantly increased, sales cycles would be shortened, and high rate of closure of satisfied prospects would become the norm. I have been in the sales profession for 34 years. I am presently an insurance sales representative and consider myself having a successful practice for the last 14 years. I have participated in many seminars and workshops developed by Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Dale Carnegie, Perter Lowe, Dr. Wayne Dyer and many others. The methods presented in these programs are all similar: a lot of “hype,” and “canned” phrases. Although useful to some extent, they are, again, similar.
I experienced John Voris’ sales seminar with Authentic Systems on April 8, 2005 and walked away with a totally new innovative approach to the process of selling. I have never, over my 34 years in the industry, heard or participated in a seminar or training approach so unique. I’ve been with Cutco Cutlery in a direct sales position since 1999, and in a management role since 2001. My association with that company piqued my interest in personal growth and I’ve been passionate about self-improvement since 2000. “Hello nice to meet you, my name is I HAVE TO KNOW.” This is how i would introduce myself if we lived in a world with no names. My name is Kimberly Cooks, about ten or so months ago I took the Authentic Systems cours with Mr. John Voris, it added positive change to my life on a personal and career level.
This course, what I would say, broke me up into pieces and put me back together in the correct order, not only that but introduced me to who I have been all my life, and it opened my eyes a bit more.
In finding out that I am a person who “NEED TO KNOW” I was able to look back and recall a lot of decisions or events missed out on because of not knowing.
My biggest conflict with myself was school, I did not want to go back for a number of reasons. From “NOT KNOWING” if I would be able to take the time to study, be able to work and go to school, do well in school, and whether or not my relationships would be able to make it.
Now I have to admit after John and I took the Authentic Systems course I was like “okay what does this mean?” I honestly had no idea, but please believe me I was in school less than a month later, and I graduated almost a month ago.
And now I’m a medical assistant, just like that. It wasn’t handed to me, I did have challenges that made it hard at times, but I kept telling myself I don’t need to know if I’ll graduate I finally told myself “I WILL GRADUATE.”
